About Gurukulam
Gurukulam communication website is a vast collection of kalari marma massage therapy and related traditional therapy segments. This website already consists of 110 videos of duration which varies from one hour to five hours each. We have published first time ever in the history a video documentary of duration 8 hours which consists of more than fifteen hundred massage routes of kalari marma therapy. This video will be helpful for professionals in massage therapy field. We are also working to publish 160 marma therapy and massage related videos within a short time span. Kerala is also known as the land of kalari in India. Sri. Antony Gurukkal is the chief master of Sri Gurukulam kalari which is located at Elavally Village of Thrissur district the cultural capital of Kerala. These videos are documented under the guidance of him. This video documentation project has started at the year 2012. The vision of this project is to develop awareness and preserve this knowledge for upcoming generations and also to develop kalari and therapy centres at possible locations. After the year 2020 with the support of this project 2 kalari structures were developed and laid the foundation stone for a kalari marma therapy centre at Elavally Village. These structures has been utilised for providing kalari related services for people under the guidance of Shri. Antony Gurukkal. The kalari marma therapy and kalaripayattu exercise techniques are helping to preserve the health and peacefulness of our society.
